Platinum Recording Artist Cee-Lo Green & Sister Shedonna Launch The Greenhouse Foundation in southwest Atlanta. Educating the youth on planting and growing their own food. The groundbreaking event was a dedication ceremony to their mother Sheila Callaway and grandmother Ruby Callaway. Cee-Lo and sister Shedonna both spoke on the honor of having their grandmother present to witness their dedication.
Cee-Lo spoke on the power of the internet and the influence it has over our children, but how it can be equally empowering with the right resources. The Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed gave his remarks to the 200+ audience. The Mayor stated “it was his honor to be apart of 3 generations of giving.”
