Tomas Lopez, who worked at the Hallandale Beach was fired for saving a life. He reportedly left his area to save a man, who was pulled from an “unprotected” area of the water. More or less… “a swim at your own risk area”
According to Tomas a guest had informed him of the incident and people were screaming to save this person’s life. So he immediately ran in the direction and did what he was trained to do.- NBC Miami
