Jay-Z has his hands full with fatherhood, the Brooklyn Nets, rapping and now he’s aligning himself with a new liquor set to compete with the Hennessy brand. The Reasonable Doubt creator helped introduce D’ussé – pronounced “dew-say” — Wednesday night (May 9) in New York City.
The Life Files reports Hov was in attendance at the exclusive event to launch the product, which is the latest addition to the Bacardi brand. Available next month, the VSOP cognac will retail at around $44.99 per 750-ml bottle.
The bottle is simple: Round shape, a cork, no label around the bottle neck, no label on the front. Just a golden double cross. That gives it a certain medieval touch, very royal.
