Are you creative? Do you have a keen taste bud? Do you have an out of the box idea/flavor that could land you a million dollars? Well the Lays contest may just be the thing for you.
Lays is looking for someone to create its next chip flavor in celebration of its 75th anniversary next year.
The creator of the winning chip will win $1 million dollars or 1% of the chip’s 2013 net sales (whichever turns out to be more)
They have hired Eva Longoria and Iron Chef Michael Symon with other food experts to select the final three finalist, after all submissions has be accounted for. Facebook has “upted’ their participation by adding a “I’d Eat That” in lieu of the the “I Like” button.
You can submit your flavor to the Lay’s Facebook page. The cut off ends on October 6, 2012. According to the rules.. you’ll have to submit your name, the flavor name, up to three possible ingredients, and a description of your master piece/influence.. no more than 140 characters.
